We camped in this valley as it was too windy on the nearby beach. Valley provides great wind shelter for a rooftop tent. Just be careful after rains as the valley can get quite muddy. Track itself is compacted and loose sand or rocks.
Take this track (16.7010744, 42.1721688) from the main road. 4x4 not necessarily needed but helpful as there are some short, uneven, steep stretches which would be difficult, if not impossible without good clearance. Also some soft sandy bits.
The nearby beach has paradise-like white sand but there was quite a bit of seaweed on the beach because of the strong winds when we were there. Only little trash.
Good internet reception with STC.

The ‘private beach’ is a highly recommended place. Spent here 2 days and nights. No one showed up.
For access 4x4 is mandatory due to some sandy passages if coming from harbour direction.
Temperature mid of April very hot during daytime (36-38°C); at nighttime 29-31°C. Due to high humidity - (60-75%) it feels very very hot..
a real pearl this piece of island!
We stopped before reaching this place because, in a 2wd, we went as far as we could. When we were there even a 4x4 got stuck in the soft sand. Amazing area! Probably the best on the island. If it's not too windy there's a very nice beach good for swimming and snorkeling (not deep water but a lot of fish and stingrays nonetheless). Nobody came during the night, a few cars passed by during the day.
