We were waved through. Don’t know where all those stories of corrupt officials come from. Haven’t met them until now…
Report Check-InNo problems. Like all checkpoints we have been through, as soon as you say you are a tourist you are warmly welcomed and sent straight through. No issues.
Report Check-InSeems to have gotten better. After showing my paperwork and refusing a to hand over a cadeau I was free to pass.
Report Check-InThe most corrupt people we met on the route. We had all the paperwork, medical box, triangle, fire extinguisher. Then asked for gloves. Gloves???!?!? Seriously. They tried to fine us. We drove off leaving behind photocopies but one officer came after us saying that we drove off without papers and still was asking for money. We didnt pay a penny.
Report Check-InDon’t stop!
They will ask anything, I was play with waiting game, only show them some copies
we had to show ever paper we had, we gave all photocopies so that they did not have our originals. photocopies was ok.
because all paperwork was ok, they tried to find an other way to give us a fine... everything checked, triangles, closed shoes, fire ext and date, medical box and date of the medicines, ...
in the end they gave up.
Pulled us out.
Wanted to see all documents, really all. Not that friendly but also not agressiv.
After they checked everything they said we would have the wrong entrance stamp (not round one).
We tried to speak with him but no solution.
His fault they we had our documents back. I just asked if i can see my passport ones more.
We walked away to our vehicles and drove of.
Did not even try to stop us!
corrupted check point, was asked for every document, driving license, vaccinations, carte grise, passavant and had a complete perquisition of my motorcycle panniers. At the end my innocent kitchen knife was illegal, lost one hour but didn't bribe.
Report Check-InThe guy there wants to see everything indeed. Was telling us that we need Lesse passe, even though we had carnet. Let us go in the end.
Report Check-InThey want to see everything! 2 triangle, extinguisher, medical box, spare tyre, all papers incl vaccination
