Something not right?

Description

A hotel located not to far from the New Camaroon Conulate this Hotel has room from 5000 to 15000. Meals and drinks are available on sight and secured parking inside the grounds. Paid Nigerian Police work as night gaurd and the staff tried hard to please by helping with money exchanges and more. Regular power outages are the norm in the city but the hotel has generators. AC was unreliable.

Access is in an unassuming, uninviting alley but always has somebody to open the door either honk or knock.

Showers are available but you are likely to take a bucket shower.

Wifi was available when it was to deal breaker and was more reliable than the AC

Everything is ok. nice room. private shower and toilet. fan. Itwill take them an hour to turn on generator and water. but for only 5000 for a room they Will. very nice staff and beers. Don't order food. very expensive. but for the rest, including safe parking, it's great for one night. very close to ambasade Kameroen.

Lots of promises by the staff but… AC was only working a few hours during our two-day stay. Had to beg for WiFi. Would change euros for us but came back with a lower rate than agreed on so change your money elsewhere. Food is two to four times more expensive than on the menu in the rooms (which is supposedly outdated), so ask prices before ordering and negotiate. On the positive side, drink prices in the bar are reasonable and parking is secure.

Not really close to the Cameroon consulate, about 5 to 6 km. Local market nearby but not much in the way of shops or restaurants.
