Description

I went inside and asked about potable water, and the lady at the counter said that as far as she knew, the spigots at the trucker pumps were potable. Usually, they aren't, and I have no way to test the water to know for sure. There is a pump behind the building, in faded blue paint (means potable), that we used instead. It already had a long hose hooked up, but clearly, we used our own with our dinky little Camco water filter. It was the only spot we could find. All the nearby campgrounds are closed until May 1st, and most outdoor spigots still seem to be shut off. Go buy some chips or a drink or something, and hopefully, this will continue to be an option for travelers in colder months.
