if you stay 3 days or longer you have to pay 25000 CFA
3000 Cfa pppn for camping
2 hotels are in the park where you also can camp.
Pendjari Hotel is very noisy because of the generator running all the night.
wild camp is not allowed without a guide. They caught us and asked us to pay a huge fine.....!There is only one official place where it is allowed to camp by your own. No showers there.
I try to saved the position of this campground here in the park near mare yangouali. (is not exactly the point, sorry) This does not mean it is a campground! But a nice place on a lake. Hippos here and a group of baboons. so be careful. We saw some lions also some km from here..no fence around!
Park itself is great! We saw a lots of elephant, hippos and lions. mass of different Antelope, krokos and and and.......
