Description

A pretty drive up out of the valley to Presa Los Alamitos. There are a few places among the trees with fire rings once you near the reservoir.

This is probably the best of them, its fairly large and is the flattest of the bunch. Mid-winter here feels like early fall back home in Oregon.. :)

These coordinates are also close to the trailhead for a hiking trail.

Latest Check-Ins

As described. The drive thru the nopal cactus fields is the best part. In December there's no water in the waterfall and the reservoir was muddy brown. The last 14km was pretty rough. Not really worth coming up here unless you really need to get away from it all.

Report Check-In

As described. About 15km rugged road prior to arrival. Managed with out 2wd westy. Cabanas a little further up so some traffic but everyone mucho friendly. Feels safe. A wee visible from the road.
