They did not give us a visa for Mali, said, this procedure was only in the past, and is not done anymore. They sent us back to Burkina Faso in order to get the visa at the Embassy of Mali in Ouagadougou. We know from other travelers, that they got a 7-day visa at the border and extended in Bamako/Mopti
