Burkina Faso
We came in to Togo from Boukombé where we were unable to purchase our visa, we were told to buy it here in Cinkassé. This is the place to get your exit stamp and Togo visa, even if you are heading into Ghana. We had a really hard time dealing with the officials here. We wanted to confirm the price they were charging us for the visa and all hell broke loose. All the men in this tiny matchbox office started screaming at us. We were there for over an hour, but in the end we paid 20,000 CFA each, got our visas stamped and headed out on our way to the much more friendly Ghanaian border. I think that if we hadn’t asked any questions at all things wouldn’t have been so unpleasant, we had no idea that these dudes would be so triggered.
If you want to extend it, you can do it in the police in Kara or Lomé. There you will have to pay 2000 sefa more and bring 2 photos.
We don't have any photos of this place yet.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.

We had the same experience as Dutch residents. You need to stop in front of a fence and will be pointed to a white container at the left for your 7 day visa for CFA 10 000 per person. After that you can drive your car around the fence to the right where there is a grey building, when you enter the cashier for the TIP is located at the rigt side behind a small window. They'll check your car real quick and need your card de gris and driving license and then it's CFA 5 000 for the TIP.
Report Check-InSuper easy Visa, we extended it in Kara for free. Friendly Border, no Money, no Problems.
The Customs Guy didn't know the Carnet de Passage and wanted to sell a Laissez Passer. After short Conversation ("Carnet = International Laissez Passer for all African Countries") he stamped it without Problems.
No photos required for this visa. 10,000 CFA. Only takes 5 minutes. Located in a white container to the left after the bridge. TIP is obtained by going right after the bridge and in the grey building. 5,000 CFA. Again quick and easy.
