Close? Everything was locket...

Was completely closed, when we were there, looked abanndoned.

Friendly owner, restrooms, showers, nice place but not being maintained currently. Thristy mosquitos. Close to the Altun Ha ruins. $8 USD per vehicle. Place was flooded.

Small campground, nice owner. Most of the grassy area was flooded and the restrooms looked like they weren't used for a long time. BZ$15

Place had a lot of rain and it was closed before. so the owner had to clean first before we were able to use the toilets. very friendly owners and good place to stay for going to the ruins of Altun Ha.

Beautiful property with friendly owners. 1 mile from the ruins. Ponds to fish in with a beauriful walk to a butterfly house. Very safe area since its gated. Big grassy area for all types of rigs and tents. There is electricity and wifi available. It was 20 belize for 5 people for one night. Bathrooms are ok and has a shower (cold). Road coming in is rough but is on the mend. Just watch out for the bugs, theres a lot

- 20 BZD
- owners are from the US
- nice bathrooms with a shower (cold)
- unfortunately when we were there (12/2013) the rain season was unusually long and a large part of the campground was flooded
- potholed road last couple of Kms - we drove south to Sand Hill and then turned back North, seemed better than the road directly from the north
- the restaurant is closed
- there is a pet howler monkey in a large cage on the premises, but might not be there for long, as local laws apparently prohibit keeping wild animals (for a reason, this monkey didn't look too happy)
