quality welding available here, but they're not mechanics. Just before Galp garage going northbound out of Bissau. I got my pannier rack substantially repaired and modified here for my motorcycle. The main guy speaks French, but has a guy called Lamin who can speak English too. These guys are really good. The finished result had good welded seams, was grinded down and shaped to remove sharp edges and painted after. Original quote was 12k cfa, but haggle down to 10k. Was so happy with finished result that I happily paid 12k. They also looked after me for the 3 hours, getting me a seat in the shade, buying me a coke and banana etc.
