We went to the Iran embassy to pay our visa after we got it via TAP Persia. Go early, the shuttle service takes time. everything went smoothly at the Iran embassy, just bring your passport and the printed visa application form. You can choose for the fast procedure, it is more expensive but you get your visa immediately or you can choose for the normal procedure, 17.500 pakistani rupee, and you can get your visa after 3 to 5 working days. You pay the amount cash at the Allied bank 5 min walking distance.

!! nex to Allied bank is Alfala bank and their ATM machine works with normal maestro card to withdraw money!! For us it was the only ATM in whole Pakistan that worked 😀

WARNING!!!
For Iran Embassy

We applied 4 weeks ago for a tourist Visa in Islamabad. They told us that it could take 2, 3, 4 or 5 weeks.
Afer 1 months we had still no news from the Visa. So we went there to speak again with them.
After half an hour they told us that they are sorry but for a visa we should better apply in Lahore.
The ambassador is different in Lahore. Very friendly and want to help tourists.
Not like in Islamabad. Its a travelers trap. You pay 8100 Rupie per Person and wait for weeks for no Visa possibility at all.
A other traveler told us that he is waiting since 6 months and still no Visa!
So please dont go there. Go directly to Lahore.
