Liked the wide open countryside, so decided to do a little google satellite boondock hunting... Found this clearing/fork in the road by the river through agricultural land. Saw a local on the drive in and confirmed that the road was public access (as it really seems like private farm roads). Great breeze and tons of birds during our stay.

Didn’t have any luck trying to get here. Gates were locked and no one was around to ask. It was getting late so we went down the road to ‘Cienaga Las Macanas’ that we could see on maps.me. Can’t recommend going there either. We hoped there might be a entrance to the reserve where we could camp but it was just narrow dirt roads leading past ranch lands. Lots of bugs.
Report Check-InThis is a private 1000 hectar rice and sugar cane farm. Finca Santa Rita. You need to aks for permission at the gate before you drive to the river.
