We stayed for two nights and had breakfast and dinner here on both days. Since we opted to stay in the room rather than RTT, we took the bigger room for 25k (8€) a night. The bed was comfortable and the water hot - hand held showerhead over bathtub. Nothing fancy and not suuuuper clean, but really ok. Staff were friendly, some spoke English others just French. Dinners range between 5-20k (burger, pasta, steak, roasted chicken, fish) and breakfast (eggs, fruit) around 5-7k. The food exceeded our expectations

Fairly vasic motel. Ensuite rooms are in semi-detached little cottages.
I had a pasta there for dinner which was okay.
Price was very fair - Bfr20,000 for a single.
I would use again in future.

Seems like the best option in Gitega. We camped in the garden ish area for 10,000 per car and then the room for toilet/shower is 20,000. I think you could definitely just get the room for 20k and choose to sleep in the car or not! The room is okay, nothing special but seems pretty clean and had hot water and a big bed.
Decent restaurant with quite good food and not bad prices either. Really friendly staff!
Wifi was working when we were here.

Quite big Hotel in the quite suburbs of Gitega. Well maintained and managed at reasonable prices. I had the cheepest room at 20.000 BFr. Spacy, clean and a comfortable bed. Bathtub.

Probably your best bet in Gitega. They have three different types of rooms. Small, medium, large, for 20.000, 25.000 or 30.000. We opted for the big room. Comfy beds and very quiet since it has some distance from the main road. We cooked our own food outside of the room. It’s a motel style hotel so you can park outside the room

Nice Hotel outside of Gitega. They let us camp with rooftop tent in their garden for 5$ total. They offered toilet and shower.
