checked into Nigeria here by car. Went hrough fairly easily and friendly. They didn't need any CdP or any paperwork. They simply asked if I wanted any car docs stamped. I got them to stamp the Angola permit which I had kept, just as proof of entry. not sure if its necessary but a piece of paper and a stamp will always be of use.

We came on a quiet day.
Got our passports stamped out without hassle, but they didn’t want to register the car (on a TIP) so we simply left.
Could cross the bridge in no time

We arrived late, when border was already closed. People are all friendly and showed us a place next to the road, where we could park the car and sleep for the night. Next morning immigration and customs open at 6 am, but bridge will open at 7 am. Best to organise stamps before 7, so after bridge is open you can quickly continue.
All stamps without hassle and money asked. Really nice people.
Coming from Calabar the whole road to the border is a good asphalt road, the usual potholes, but nothing too bad. 90 km before Ikom the road is brand new!

Dutch citizens exiting Nigeria.

Busy border.
You basically have to push your car through the fence otherwise the portier won't open it.

Stamp your passport at the small building at the left and then wait to cross the bridge. They did not ask to return or show our TIP.

Takes time as usual.

Have to wait for alot of traffic crossing a bridge.

Easy but busy Border that took some Time. Stamped Passports and Carnet without Problems or Money.
