great spot. breeze and close to Suriname embassy. acros the road wifi and nice icecream. At night locals play jeux de boules. great way to meet locals.
Report Check-InWe slept one week in the Hotel des Amandiers. It's expensive - 90€ for two bed room. But because my boyfriend was ill and we needed this hotel urgently, we got a discount and could stay for 70 € a night. Clean and nice rooms. Very friendly staff, good bar downstairs in the hotel. Nice view at the ocean and very quiet at night.
Report Check-InThe best place that we found if you want to be in town. Very popular with families in late-afternoon until dark, then peaceful over-night and most of the day. We stayed a few nights waiting for the strikes and blockades to end, no one bothered us. Toilets in the square but we didn't use them. There is a 3-star hotel there too, not sure whether they might let you use facilities. Wifi in the hotel cafe. No charge for parking-up.
