We drove on the main road through the tiny village of Banos Morales until we reached the end, blocked off by a couple large boulders. It was nighttime and only stray horses got in our way. We found a small, flat spot off the dirt road that fit our Subaru Outback Impreza and a tent. Nobody bothered us at night nor in the morning. No cars passed by at night but a couple cars did pass through in the morning (around 10am). Great night sky for stargazing, wonderful views of the surrounding mountains.

Report Check-InOn the other side of the valley there is the Mine headquarters, so some noise is to be expected, at least until midnight and from 6am... Bright Lights as well! Nice view, to the end of the valley, but not breathtaking. No cell connection on local Entel carrier.
