Small secure guesthouse with bungalows & camping ground for tents and overlanders just outside the centre of Kotido. Very clean long-drop abolutions with cold shower. Very relaxed with hospitable and friendly staff and although there's a primary school at the bottom of the premises, it's very quiet. Camping costs 10'000 UGX pppn.

Lovely! stop over great staff, very welcoming. The walled camping area is quiet but some music playing nearby on a weekend night. Now charging 25,090 ush pp. Great place in an area with few options.
Report Check-InLovely people and good service. We camped here with RTT. Other options are to pitch a tent or to stay in manyattas. Clean toilets and shower facility.
Camping was 10.000 UGX pppn.
Per person we paid 35.000 UGX to have breakfast (pancakes), lunch (rolex) and dinner (basic but very tasty rice, curry and vegetables).
Great place to stay, very welcoming, clean compound and good shower. Joseph the host can give you a lot of information about the Karamajong and the history of the region. Worth a visit!

Report Check-InBasic toilets but clean we didn’t call before. We have a room for the cold shower. We paid 20000 Ugx for the car. We visited the school. We buy a topical blanket for 25000 Ugx, a neckless for 8000 Ugx. We recommend
Report Check-InWe really like this campsite! Very friendly staff. There is a normal toilet on top of a hole, flushing with water from a bucket.
We also visited a village nearby, what was very impressive. Highly recommend to do this.
Report Check-InVery nice place. Quiet and enough shade. We camped but could use the shower in a hut. Very nice people. They prepare food if you wish. Camping UGX 10.000 pppn.
Report Check-InAs was written big rigs after turning off the main road do not turn left at the sign. Go to the gate and ask to enter at the back gate. The Big rigs parking is in the school grounds, but it is closed due to Covid. We asked them to arrange for us a tour to non-commercial Karamoja village. We went by two Boda Boda to Rengen area (50,000 ugs), tour 50,000 ugs, we bought corn, beans and soap for the locals instead of paying in cash.

Report Check-InThey have many cottages and you can camp anywhere inside their plot. Clean toilets. They also organize cultural visits to Karamoja villages. Totally recommend it!
Report Check-Innice, clean and friendly place. the village is noisy at least on week ends nights but nothing earballs can not supress. we did the visit of the manyatta with a nice guide. from the 175000 Ush paid for the group, 125000 were paid directly to or in the village. so price is really fair. it took 3 hours so sleeping here is the best option.

Report Check-InThese GPS points are the real location. When you come from Kaabong it's a turn into a small road on your left next to a kind of workshop not far from the main junction in town. Follow this track along the primary school and take the 2. turn to the left. There you will find it on your right side.
Otherwise as described, friendly people, nice shelter. When I was there no running water, but they brought water in buckets.
