Big area to choose your place, for tent and vans - maybe big rigs can fit through the entrance.
only cold showers (only one shower available, in the men's shower it has feces all over the place), toilet doors have no handles - definitely need maintenance!
power and water outlets (water looks and tastes potable), places to wash dishes, parrillas.
paid 4500 Pesos Arg for 4 people, 1 van and 1 tent.
would not stay again because of said toilets and showers.

The place is beautiful with lots of trees. Bathroom old but ok. We were off season and didn't have to pay.

Rosmarie&Peter
Just wanted to stay here for the night but the big „fiesta nacional de la chicha“ took place 200 meters from the crowded camping. So we spent the night in the host of enthusiastic Argentinians sitting ahead of the huge stage, listening to a folkmusic concert!
Camping is old but at nice location.

Report Check-In

Nice campground.
Hot showers, water, electricity.

300 ARS pp and 300 for a motorcycle.

Report Check-In

Perfect place to spend night, quiet and large parking. ARS $200 p.p. and $200 per vehicle. no shower.

Emergency camping for us! It was quite late around 10:00pm, raining when we arrive. From Salta to here, there are some cabañas to open for only weekend and to be expensive(6,000AR$ for 2pers). The guard is very kind, the village La Caldera is cozy. We didn’t check the shower but the toilet is acceptable. 200AR$ per person(we have rooftop-tent).

Report Check-In

Nice green camping suitable for big grids.
No hot shower
I paid 500 for 2 days (1 person and my camper). They don’t seem to care that much if you pay or not as it is municipal

Report Check-In

Quiet, old, best option between salta and jujuy. We tried a few other places,
No way. Yes, the men’s shower is closed but lady says no prob using the women’s which was clean and really hot water and not so old. Bathrooms mega clean, men’s no seats, women’s with seats. Obviously on a weekend avoid at all costs but on a Monday, perfect, like 3 other people here in high season.

Cheap and not worth the money!
80 ARS p.p. and per car or tent
If you are brave enough to try the run-down showers, make sure that you ask in advance, they are closed most of the day
Check-out 10 am

Motorhome 4x4.
Old, half of the infrastructure is not working. Men's shower is closed. Hot shower until 20h.
Not recommendable.

beautiful green campsite, outside town, with view of the gorgeous cerro (ask the encargado how to get there, it is really worth it, super view). hot water for the shower just available when the encargado puts it on in the afternoon around 17-18. ask him about it, he is very nice. he also provides hot water for the termo ;) no internet, but some of the restaurants in town have (el kolla, la caldereña).

Report Check-In

Still a good camping. All as described first, but now with hot showers in the morning. Price now 50pp and 50 for the tent.

Report Check-In

Large, mainly for weekend(day) use. End of the road. Run down. No showers. Paid 50 pp, not for small kids or vehicel. We could not find/missed the 2nd camping that should be up the road according to Google and OSM.

Report Check-In

Super quiet camping. Clean bathrooms, no internet, cold showers. Perfect.
The owner is super friendly and has got a cute dog. Not much barking. Hope that will be the same at night but I am hopeful.
Tables, BBQs,...
nothing that we are missing.
They were asking 40 pesos per person and 70 pesos for the landrover. We paid 100 pesos for two in the car.
Recommended.
