Description
You can park your vehicle here while you are upriver. They allowed us to park our motorcycles inside a gated garage. No payment accepted. The best-prices for parking upriver can be found at 11am. At 4pm, we paid SRD50 per person to go to Isadou. Atjoni itself has 3 grocery stores and a gas station.

The parking in front of the police station remains a good option. Just pop your head into the station, say hello and ask where's safest? Local lad then approached us and said we'd have to pay.
When we explained that the nice policeman had told us to park there, he disappeared. ;-) Note boats tend to leave Atjoni to go up river about 1pm. They leave the communities up river about 8am. Outside of these times you will have to pay a premium price for river transport.
