New management. Would not let us stay in the car. We went to Lao Style Guesthouse instead who did let us stay.

We stayed 2 nights in the travellodge. Before settling here we visited a number of places In Thakhek but couldn’t find anywhere particularly comfortable for 2 nights.

This place was the best we could find by far. The bedding was clean and bed comfy. They’ve got a lovely garden with seating and a restaurant with a well priced menu. We eat well for 60,000kip - big portions.

The staff speak English and are very pleasant. The room also has a kettle with coffee.

I would stay here again!

Second time we where here. very nice staf. We stayed on the gras area, had our own shower and had some meals there. They charged 15.000 kip p.n., first they asked 50.000 kip p.n. , but I think it was a language problem.

Plenty of space for parking. They said we could park for free but we decided to use their showers, 5,000kip each and buy a few beers.

We stayed one night in the guesthouse (100,000kip per night for en suite room with fan). We then camped in our Landy for two nights, paying 10000 each for a shower and to use the toilets. They have an overhanging garage roof you can park under - very handy for rainy season!! We also are here and rented our bikes from here for the loop. Mr Ku's bikes are the cheapest in town. Nice staff, nice place.

Camped at Thakhek travel lodge. For 50.000 Kip (the price of a dorm) we used toilet and shower. Place has wifi and a campfire every evening.
