Report Check-In

Construction is still going on but is quiet at night and there are toilets and showers nearby. You can park under the trees so you are in the shadows. During noon the workers are sleeping under the trees, it might get a bit uncomfortable, but they are gone after noon and in the evening they go home.

Report Check-In

Stayed here 2 nights without issues. Track along the beach is very churned up and will only be accessible by 4x4. For 2x4 vehicles the only real option is the big tree where the blue metal fence starts.

Construction ongoing. But quiet during the night.

Report Check-In

The construction is still going on and from the status I would assume it will not be finished in 2019. However the noises from the construction site stopped at 8.30 pm and we had a quiet night under a tree directly on the beach. Due to the softer sand, not even the locals in their motorcycles visited us.

Report Check-In

Great spot on Penang down the end of the track. Seen a few other cars try and get down though didn't make it. Construction is still going on behind though after talking to the project's QS, who came for a stroll past, scheduled completion is mid 2019. Construction 'noise', stops at about 5pm and starts about 8am.

Report Check-In

Construction is still going, but it looks like it will continue for a long time. Best spot right in front of the blue metal fence below a huge shady tree!

Report Check-In

Lovely campspot next to beach. You can use the toilet at the Hindu Temple for a small fee. Popular with locals so you may get a few bikes arriving late at night/ early morning.

Report Check-In

right on the beach, in the back a fence of a construction site for a new hotel. we do not know how long this place can be used in the future?!?

Report Check-In
