Description
Hidden in a valley is a really big welwitschia plant. Just follow the tracks.
There is a huge rock pile near the junction.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.

Apparently the biggest of Africa. If you’re not into 1300 years old plants maybe not worth the stretch in and out from Archos… but if it’s a 1.5km detour do not miss it!!!
Track to get there from Archos is easy but not friendly with your suspensions (we broke a shock absorber - ok he was about to die anyway…).
Some NP guards were there, they registered our vehicle, we had a nice chat and they left.
Welwitschia is big but the Valley is more nice. We even camped there. Recommended
Report Check-InThis is the highest Welwitchia that I have seen. About 1.8m high. It's worth the 1.3km detour off the road.
