One of the few places in the 101 where you can spend the night. No sign saying that overnight parking is prohibited.
Close to the road but minimal noise during the night.
10mn from Cannon Beach if you need to sleep in that area. Car/Van/RV sleeping in Cannon Beach is not allowed and cops will wake you up and ask you to leave.
PS: The specific spots allowed are few meters AFTER “Neahkahnie Viewpoint”
Report Check-InSeveral pull outs at top of mountain, stayed there two nights with no issues, one evening was honked at but didn’t bother me. The large gravel one is the flattest but I stayed in one by big rock as beautiful view
Report Check-InWhat a beautiful view. A lot of back and forth but normal for a pullout like this. Yes very noisy because barely 20 feet from the road. Watch the sea you well seeing whales.
Report Check-InPaved pull out off Hwy 101. There are four of these and none are marked No Overnight
Beautiful views from each one, but very close to heavy daytime traffic. No homeless observed, but a few FT RVers with well kept up units. Verizon signal 4 LTE
Flat and lots of weekend noise from the highway. Maybe quieter on a weekday?
Report Check-InSeveral pullouts on this road. Great views, though quite windy and noisy by the road. We choose the smallest one coz of the trees and was really too close.
The honk thing did happened once.
stayed one night in one of the many parking lots. sunset is beautiful but the night is horrible. it’s very close to the street so it’s very loud. but it’s free and on the seaside so for 1-2 nights it’s ok.
Report Check-InAs described. We spent 1 night without an issue. There are actually a number of pulloffs in this area along the road - appears that lots of people overnighted in them (we even saw a tent setup in one).
Locals seem to know that people overnight and enjoy honking/yelling as they drive by... not the end of the world, but a bit annoying.
Report Check-InGot here about 10:00pm. Saw we were on a hill and went right to bed. We woke up to the most amazing sunrise in the morning. Road traffic is minimal throughout the night and picks up as it get more sunlight. If you’re in a jam and have no place to sleep, this place is quite the epic spot.
Report Check-InLast mile or so (high road, coast and town views) has a few pullouts with no obvious signs preventing parking. Earlier a sign said no overnight parking AT ALL in the state park but you might be able plead ignorance if your stop doesn't have this sign. The gravel pull out at the exit of the state park is a better spot to stay. Noise from the highway and no toilet facilities but nice view.
Report Check-InWe caught this spot just as the sun was setting and it was gorgeous! Busy with visitors until dark set in. Was very quiet after dark.
Felt a little too close to the road for total comfort, but traffic calmed down at night.

This place is a pullout on hwy 101 close to manzanita beach . There are no signs prohibiting overnight parking, and no one bothered us. Some road noise from traffic but it's an okay spot for one night in the area. Not possible to boondock at nearby Manzanita beach.
