Peru
This is the actual location of the El Brujo museum. only 4km west of the incorrect pin on the map. really worth the drive and the ten soles. big thumbs up!
Update:
We put in the GPS co-ordinates for the parking place in front of the site.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Still S/10 pp or S/5 if student. It's absolutely worth checking it. It really complements with El Señor de Sipan Museum. It focuses only on the discovery of the first and only governing female tomb uncovered to date, which gives its uniqueness.
Report Check-InVery well done site and definitely recommend a visit. They have a full audio tour in English. The employees are very knowledgeable and love to share info. 10S pp. Well worth the detour for us.
Report Check-InWe tried to park in the museum parking lot for the night, but the security guards told us we weren’t allowed to park there, we moved to the beach down the road 5 minutes from the museum

Report Check-InAs all the other comments say, it's definitely worth the short detour and the small entrance fee (10s pp). We went to a lot of incredible ruins in Mexico, but think that the level of preservation here outdoes many of the ones we've seen previously. Very nice experience.
Report Check-InWow! Well done site. Lots to see in the museum and out in the sand. Road here is bumpy but accessible. Clean bathrooms and gift/snack shop.
Report Check-InPay attention! They have ticket prices, but there is a hidden ticket which is not indicated. If you want to see the place where the rituals happen they want you to pay extra 10 Soles. Not for a ritual, just to see the place. Rituals are listed separately on the website. The admission fee for the ritual place is not mentioned on the website, not at the ticket shop. You can pay for this admission where you can buy sweets. Pure corruption in my view. The museum is nice, but no photos at all in the chamber with the lady of cao. The archeological site is very nice and worth a visit. If you are a professional photographer or journalist you can get a special permission, but you have to write an email minimum 3 days in advance. Then you can also see places which are not public and take pictures everywhere.
Report Check-InComplejo El Brujo and museum Cao. Amazing place and history of Señora de Cao, the mommy it’s shocking.
If you take the road from Chocope it’s all paviment, in good conditions except the last 4km
el brujo: museum and archeological site. entrance fee for both and the guide 10sol pp. it took us about 1 hour. worth a visit and the detour. we are not allowed to stay here overnight. we should ask the police in the village.
Report Check-In10 soles per person. very interesting, English explanations in museum.
