Description

ADMIN NOTE: No overnight camping allowed, please respect the wishes of the locals

Quiet parking space where nobody disturbed us. Only little skunks were roaming through the night. But get up early people seem to get here early.

Latest Check-Ins

We first parked at the front until we figured it was probably part of the sports stadium so we ended up moving to the back. Couple of people sleeping in their cars and vans, very quiet and respectful. As other people have said here only issue was some teenagers with loud music and shouting until late at night (this was a Thursday). Did not get much sleep, and lot started to fill up very early in the morning. Just stayed one night, shame about the noise cause it's a pretty cool library...

Report Check-In

Big sign saying "tow-away 10pm to 5am" and "no parking for vehicles over 20 feet" (see picture)
We decided not to stay

This place is permanently closed.

Report Check-In

See picture, overnight parking not possible. Maybe a new ordinance..?

Report Check-In

We liked this place so much that we decided to stay a second night. Sadly, a number of brainless teens spent all night shouting histerically, listening to very, very loud poor quality music... on a Tuesday. So be aware.

Great place, quiet, next to a park for a morning walk / run and with a number of clean public restrooms open from 8a to 8p. The library itself is super and opens from 9a to 9p! Clean bathrooms. Got a few documents printed, copied something else prior heading to the mexico border.

Great place to park and stay overnight, except if it's Saturday night. We had a few local teenagers drinking/partying/playing music near their car which just happened to be near our camper van. They didn't bother us and kept to themselves, but we were woken up at 2:30am and 4:45am from the noise. Other than that, it is a great spot. Just make sure you park by the library NOT in the sports complex parking area (they have no overnight signs in those lots). We saw outdoor public bathrooms by the sports complex, when we were leaving... not sure if the are open only during specific hours, but they're there!

So I couldn't set this at the spot itself since I already left. Just go to the public library in Huntington. That's the spot.
