We only took a shower and fill our water jerrican. 2000 TG for 2 shower and water (4€).
Absolutely brilliant hostel. The owner, Albina, is lovely. She lives next door. Very clean and more of a European style than any of the other places we have stayed in Kazakhstan. There is one dorm room and three private rooms. All had air conditioning. Two shared toilets and two showers - both very clean. We paid 6000T a night for a private room. Quite a big extension is being built so there will be more rooms in the future. Lovely garden with seating and shade. Free to use the washing machine as long as you have your own detergent, and there is a clothes airer for drying clothes. Small kitchen, with not the greatest selection of utensils but enough to cook basic meals. WiFi was ok - quite slow when more than a couple of people were using it. You can park smaller vehicles securely at Albina’s house, but our 2.4m high Land Rover was too tall. We parked on the street outside which seemed to be quite safe - Albina also parked her car here and said she had never had a problem in 5+ years of being there. Nice hidden garden.
We only stopped here for a nice warm shower after driving for several days on dusty roads. 500T per person.
Very friendly owner and nice hostel with kitchen and a garden to sit and relax. Secure motorcycle parking next door at the owners home.
There is now a sign in front of the iron gate.
Great place, they added airconditioning to the dorm when i was there.
there are signs outside so dont worry it's easy to find.
