couldn't find the Spot nearly, so we took this. nothing special and some trash, but good views and quiet. a bit away from the road.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
A few flat areas to camp away from road. 3rd pullout has a few campfire rings and is somewhat protected from the wind.
Report Check-InEasy to find off highway with minor bumps on dirt road (Sprinter van). Parked right under the big tree. Nice spot however lots of glass, shotgun shells, and rusted cans in the surrounding brush. perhaps not ideal if you have kids or animals for that reason. 3-4 bars LTE Verizon. Quiet at night 🙏⛰
Report Check-InA great place for a break from the sun... Pretty much the only proper tree we've seen in over a week! Cool ruins and also a spring... Which I'd recommend filtering before drinking
Report Check-InThis was a terrific spot to camp. Keep an eye out for a break in the white line as an indication of where to turn in (we were driving after dark). Drive down just past the first flat spot to find a single tree. Off the road just enough to be comfortable, and fascinating animal tracks, droppings, and minerals all around.
