beautiful setting good road to get too. plenty of spaces for trailers, vans, tents etc. fairly flat throughout
Report Check-InNice spot. Quiet. Path leading down hill to hot springs...just gotta get across a river...was shallow and narrow enough to cross. Sites among the pines, river down below. A hair of verizon.
Report Check-InSpacious dispersed camping area with a dozen or so spots for small to medium size rigs, (larger rigs will be able to make the turns between the trees). Most spots are shady (a consideration for those dependent on solar) but there are lots of trees to hang hammock’s plus 1-2 steady bars T-Mobile. YAY
Report Check-InA beautiful spot with hot springs as a bonus. There are lots of options for camping with trees to create privacy and hang a hammock. Hot springs are a short walk down but you do have to cross the river to get to them on a small “path.” Definitely recommend staying here if you’re in the area. Get a burger from The Barn in Bridgeport on your way in.
Report Check-InThe road is extremely bumpy if you’re using a camper. We brought our sprinter this way. Perfect location for a camp out. Next to the river. Gorgeous views. Down the way is the hot springs where you have to walk down. Steep for elderly. Fair warning nudity may be seen 😎
Report Check-Instayed for two nights. Lots of spots. the creek is down the hill and hot spring is across. there is a tree crossing downstream. good T mobile service. great shade and firewood resources. many fire pits
Report Check-InFree, quite and safe place very close from Buckeye Hot Springs. Only 4km of dirt road, but don't need 4x4. Good option!
Report Check-InBuckeye Hot Springs is a great, free BLM site. Stayed next to the bridge over the river. The hot springs were a short hike down river. This was popular on a Friday night with several new arrivals during the evening. Dirt road was in mostly good shape with a little washboarding here and there. 4WD not necessary if dry.
