Something not right?

Description

Covered camping spaces are small, but the family that owns the place is very friendly. They grilled an entire lamb for New Years and were nice enough to share a huge part of it with us. There are two common rooms for cooking, one with a wood fired stove you can use for heat or cooking. It's a short walk to the water. It would be difficult for big rigs to park here. Limited power outlets (almost none).

We payed 6.000 pp for 2, incl. CamperVan got water to refill, too.
Stayed in front of the gate, as places aren’t available.
The argument for the price was, we‘re using the facilities.

Report Check-In

Still open and operating! Very hot shower and good wifi! Camping spaces available for tents as well. It’s right by the lake and the owner is very friendly. 2000 per person

Report Check-In

An OK Place to stay. The owners are very friendly and it offers everything you need (hot showers, roofed Camping spots, electricity, Wi-Fi and a kitchen) but the showers are kind of dirty and the place is not really cozy or welcoming. Paid 7.000 CLP for one Person with a tent, one night

Report Check-In

7000 CLP. After 3 nights sleeping at not oficial campgrounds for free and considering the rainy weather we decided to stay here and have a hot shower and a roof to cook. Rustic installations but clean.

Report Check-In

5000 pp. Good sites for tents under a roof. Refugio with a wood stove and electricity. Showers are hot and all is clean. Rustic but cozy. Really nice owners!! Good wifi.

Report Check-In

It is quite decent but no grass so place is dusty. Bathrooms have hot shower but are bit dirty. Wifi works and the common kitchen is good and cozy. Two power outlets in kitchen, one in bathroom.

Report Check-In

Nice spot. 4000 clp pp for tent. A kitchen and a bathroom with a shower (didn’t shower so not sure how it is). Tents are under a cover which is nice for rain. A pretty loud place as it is busy and you can hear everyone else and everything from the town, but didn’t bother us. Owner was nice and the wifi works well.

Report Check-In

Nice owners but the campground is pretty bad. No grass, only gravel, it's very tight, almost sleeping with your neighbor. Shower and toilets not very clean. Wifi is fast though. Not many power outlets. I think there are better options in town. price is 4000clp pp

Report Check-In

As described - camp spots under a roof, a bit tight but we were thankful for the roof because it rained a lot while we were here. Nice little kitchen with wood burning stove. Good WiFi and hot showers. Friendly cat. The hosts are really nice and helpful people, offered to charge our electronics in their house since there is only one outlet in the kitchen.

Report Check-In

They have kayak here ! We rented 1 kayak for two for 2h30 and we paid 12000clp. It's almost the same price every where, 1 pers 4000 an hour, 2 pers 6000 an hour.

They have sheltered spots, amazing hot shower, good wifi, and a nice stove in the common kitchen to be warm at night. It's only 4000/pers.

Report Check-In

Terrific wifi at this campground! Downloaded some episodes of Fuller House, not a great show. The couch at the campground could use some TLC but is a capable napping spot for 4-5 hours. No dogs here, which is a relief as we came by car. Would recommend! (Altitude sickness kicked in, 7m above sea level)

Report Check-In

Good hot shower with a great pressure.
1500 pp. It is very rustic tho and not so clean but still a good one on a rainy and cold day.
They also have a very great wifi .
The only weird think is that the lady stayed seated outside the door of the shower all the day waiting us to finish, maybe after we won't pay, not sure !

Report Check-In

nice familly, camping is very rustic in the backyard of their house, BUT hotshower are perfect, rustic but very hot and good preassure!

there is also a rustic Canada with wood stove for cooking and warm.

the wifi is incredibly fast : 45mb download and 50mb upload !

price are 4000pp

familly is very welcoming

Report Check-In

Camping under shelter in the yard of the family home (as the neighbor camping). Tent spaces narrow, but less crowded than neighbor camping. Nice common dining room for campers with wood stove and electricity. Fast WiFi. Toilets and showers so so. Electricity and hot water between 4pm and 11am. Paid 4000$ pp.

Report Check-In

Great place to camp. Its got covered camping spots, good wifi and the toilets and showers are working and hot water.
The owners are really friendly and warm-hearted. We used the kitchen in the back and it fitted with a wood burning stoves.
Not good for big rigs or cars.

Report Check-In

I was disappointed by this place. It looks more as a outhouse (that cames with the noisy construction next to it). The floor is sandy and the interior is pretty unmaintained. Wouldn’t recommend it if you have other options. The only good thing was the hot shower, and the man kindness!

Report Check-In

Nice sheltered campsite. Paid 4000p.p. The owner offered us a lift to the national park for 4000p.p.

Report Check-In

Good stay! Not the prettiest camp site ever but the fjord is a 30 second walk away :). The camp spots are sheltered which is really nice. Super friendly owner, good WiFi and hot showers make it worth a stay! 5000 pppn

Report Check-In

No additional comments to prior reviews. Good camping! We paid CLP 4.000 per person.

Report Check-In

Great spot. very friendly owner. he came by two times a day to check the fire was going in the stove well, and top up our fire wood. we were the only ones here for the two nights we stayed, so facilities were perfect, but in high season it would be hard to charge stiff as there were not many plugs. plenty of toilets and two showers with HOT water. very fast internet, could watch Netflix without buffering!

Report Check-In

Great place to camp in the rain as the sites are under shelter! Hot showers, surprisingly quick internet. Downsides are that it's noisy (bring earplugs) and there are very few power points.

Report Check-In

Stormy weather haven!

At first glance I was having second thoughts, thinking it feels like I’m about to pitch a tent in a carport. But when the stormy weather rolled in, I could appreciate the subtle genius behind it! It’s a great, sturdy shelter to get out of the wind and rain. While sitting waiting for a storm to pass I was noticing the attention to detail they put into building the place: particularly the gutters and irrigation and built in tables were well done: makes for a comfortable stay.

The owners keep the grounds clean, the showers are hot throughout most the day (I think it might get turned off after 10:30p or midnight...not sure), and the WiFi was surprisingly good. The common room also had a nice wood stove going at night to keep you cozy warm. $5000 pppn currently

If you go into town try out the kombi cafe (kombi van on the sign). Great hamburger and cool owners. There’s also a fun little pool hall across from the park/playground off the main street.

Day 2 they packed us in like sardines...dropped a star, wasn’t quite as nice when it’s over capacity. I guess it’s hit or miss with this one!

Report Check-In

ok place. the roofing was rebuild, so it seems better then the previous comments. an additional bathroom was built but it has no showers. the showers are gas heated but, which is good but a little old, so you don't feel comfortable inside. it was a ok stay.
it seems there are other formal campings in the town. we have seen a few signs afterwards. 5000pesos per person was a little too expensive, considering that we've paid the same in much better campings.

Report Check-In

Guy is not really helpfull. He wants all the tent parked really closed to each other for a better rentabilization. Internet is crap. And there is 4 electrical plugs for the whole camping. All for 5000pp. I think better can be found.

Report Check-In

Loved it. Friendly hosts and the wood burning stove keeps ya warm on those rainy days. Just make sure you bring your own cookware and utensils since that's not provided in the common/kitchen area so if you're looking to cook a fancy meal...

Report Check-In

Very friendly. 4000pp. A bit trashy but good for rainy days. OK wifi.

Report Check-In

Did not stay. Too cramped for us with the rooftop tent. A bit rundown place. It rained and major roadworks around the village did not help lifting a slightly dreadful feeling.

Report Check-In

We stopped here with our motorhome on new years eve. We parked outside the gate and paid 4000CLP per adult (they didn't charge for the motorhome). We had a nice dinner in the little lunch room with the other campers. The family is very friendly.

Report Check-In

For us it was a good place to stay for christmas. We parked our camper outside the campground. 6000 Pesos per night.

Report Check-In

Good place to camp - covered area is very useful when it's raining (which it was/has been for many days!). Little refugio has a wood burning stove and lines inside to hang and dry clothes if needed. Good wifi. Only downside is that there are no electricity points to recharge phones etc - but they will plug them in for you if you ask. Puyuhuapi has a good little bakery and supermarkets for all the main essentials.

Report Check-In

As already written by others. Simple, but very comfortable, good wifi, place to cook and eat inside, very hot shower, 4000 clp pp with tent and motorbike. Perfect with raining weather. Very friendly.

Report Check-In

***** Excellent place. Great showers, great sheltered cooking/dining area, fast wifi. 4000clp pp.

Report Check-In

Small, cosy campsite next to the lake run by a friendly family. Space for 2 vehicles. Hot showers, electricity, wifi. General room/kitchen with wood stove. Big rigs will have to stand at the parking in front. CLP 8000 (2 adults, camper).

Report Check-In

Great little place hot showers. wood fired cooking / seating area, covered pitches with picnic benches, fast wifi, friendly owners. 4,000 p/p

Report Check-In

Great place! Very friendly and helpful. 8.000 CLP por 2 Persons, Standing with our Camper outside with WiFi - Great!

Report Check-In

Very nice and cozy! We parked our camper outside. Really hot showers and good wifi when there's less people. Warm wood stove kitchen ;)

Report Check-In

Very nice place. Big rigs can park in lot outside main camping area. Good wifi. Nice lake view from parking lot. Accommodating owner

Report Check-In

Small campsite by the water. Best for tents as there is only 1 space for a car. Large rigs could park up outside perhaps. CP4,000pp, hot showers all day, 2 kitchen / dining areas with wood fired stoves and fast wifi

Report Check-In

4,000 per person. Really best for tent camping only. There are about three sheltered tent spots. A van or truck could fit but not under a shelter. The women who owns it is very friendly and helpful.

Report Check-In

Nice owners, great wifi, hot showers, free wood! What more could you ask for? Price is 4000/person.

Report Check-In

Nice friendly site, good WiFi. Space enough for our vw T4.

Report Check-In

This campground is not suitable if you sleep in your car. The shelters were not big enough for our car (Land Rover) and there is hardly any other space. It also didn't look very promising.

Report Check-In

- 6.000 CLP for 2 of us
- Tiny camping, all places covered with low roofs (mainly tent camping here). Vehicles up to ca. 210 cm might get at least partially underneath some of the roofs. Nice owners, hot showers (very very basic), two rooms with fire stoves, good wifi. On-site bakery is supposed to open in December. Definitely not a place for big rigs.

Report Check-In

Nice owners. They even will make a fire in the quincho when it's cold outside.

Price:6000 Chiliean Pesos
