Cheap hotel, with double rooms with fan (209 GHS) or AC (269 GHS). There’s a good restaurant with breakfast (eggs and bread is 25 GHS), lunch and dinner, and also a bar. In front of the beach. It’s empty on weekdays.

The space they used to use for overlanders has now been turned into a pool, which is a shame. Not really any space to camp now, but you could park in the car park.

Nice place to spend "holydays", beach, a lot of guests, locals and foreigners. Ambiance bar, party (reggae or other at the weekend, lovely bengalows, any artisanals chops...).
But it more a backpackers place than a overlander place. Only 4 max places for cars, very hard to have a tente there.
The car place are between the bengalows, no privacy.
Ans it was expensive, 60 cedi for 2 people and a car. For this price, no water in the shower, bucket shower, no Wi-Fi, and we consume at the bar and restaurants (150 cedi to eat for 3 people).
It is a nice place, but more a club than a overlander camp!!!

You arrive, the place is full of English teenagers and the odd local guy looking for English teenage girls.

When I arrived they told me not to go to the left side of the beach because people get robbed there on a regular basis. Nice welcome...

In the beginning they said 15 Cedi pp/pn, but when the manager arrived, it went up to 30 pp/pn. I told him that I’d rather leave than pay 30 (sleep in my own car, no WiFi, dirty bucket shower, load music until late...). He went down the 15 initially agreed on and I stayed.

This place is only good if you want to party. Maybe quieter on Sunday - Monday - Tuesday ... I don’t know. Definitely not worth 30 pp/pn. 15 Cedi and in a party mood: ok.

This is a backpacker place more than a overlander place. Although Wendy aka Big Milly from the UK seems to have a soft spot for overlanders. She was very helpful to me. Good information on the road ahead and visas

Its a lively place and the last review is a bit harsh. You shouldn't go there for peace, tranquillity and isolation. Go to meet people and have a good time. Music does go late on Saturday. Less so Friday.

Great food though. And reasonable priced.

all like said below.
If you look for a partner for one night and not for your whole journey than come to this place. If you want to sleep well and quite than take an other.
No place for a overland truck at all. only for 4x4 cars.
Beach is not save! Lots of crime here. people get robbed up to there underwear. Keep of the left side of the beach they told us.....

GHc 19 pp/pn. Nice meals available & bar area. Camping area is small. Beat avoided on Friday & Saturday nights unless you want to party as the music goes till 5am in morning. Liza & Jason
