Description
The Sheraton Hotel is now the Continental. After 2 hours of discussions, the "best" deal was 100 dollars to stay sleeping on their parking. We left. It's no longer an option for overlanders.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.

Now it's the Continental not the Sheraton. We tried to ask if possible to sleep here. The manager, really friendly, was already working at the hôtel when it was Sheraton and he remembers travelers overlanders sleeping here. He tried to discuss with the Direction. But after 2 hours, the Best proposition was that we paid 100 dollars to be able to sleep on their parking..... no way. Also we tried at the Hilton and also no way.
Report Check-InThe Sheraton Hotel is not to be recommended anymore, since they recently raised their camping price to 1000% (10.000Naira/45,50€) and you have to pay for 5 days in advance without getting a refund when leaving earlier. Things might change to the better again if they eventually come to their senses. Camping is on a spot of grass behind the hotel with a nice view on the lit National Mosque and you can use the ablutions of the squash court and the pool.
