Latest Check-Ins

If you think about staying overnight, we give you the advice FORGET it. Probably the worst place for it in whole Namibia. The campground and the ablution are on a very bad condition. Nearby is the parking area of the restaurant, an coming and going til late night. In the night very loud music, a sound as if an teengroup exercise for a band contest. The campground is fenced and brightly lighted the whole night, a feeling like a prison yard.
If you are going only for lunch/dinner, the pizza is fine…

Very small, a little neglected on place of campside, but clean ablutions, 150 $N p/p.
So, we have taken a room, very clean, quiet and air-conditioned, 570 $N, with breakfast for 2.
Cool outside space for restauration and drink, good and not expensive.
Friendly staff.
Enjoyed breakfast, quite on the terrace , with shadow, birds and butterflies over the water hole.
In the end, good step !

Nice little campsite with bar and restaurant serving great food. I liked this place 🙂

Great first camp in Namibia, fantastic bar and staff very helpful.

Stayed in one of the rooms by myself. Not too bad for $20 USD. The bed was comfortable and the showers had hot water. The communal restaurant area is quite nice with a little pond and nice drinks. The food shows some effort, which is good by Ondangwa standards.

Report Check-In

A very small space only for few cars or two trucks. very dirty toilet and all the place looks dirty, but it is OK if you get stuck in the city.

The bar and restaurant is a groovy place. However, the campsite is lousy.. you’re one fence away from the actual car park. May as well camp there...!

Report Check-In

Good place for only one night with fenced campground, clean ablution and small spaces. Watch your stuff because someone tried to break into our car while we were at the reception. 110ND pppn but we got them down to 80ND pppn.

Report Check-In

As África-Drimslar we got down to 80pp. Restaurant was good, but too American. Ablutions were clean and ok, but the played loud music until 4 am so we couldn’t sleep very well. Good for a night anyway.

Nice Campground with small swampy Lake in the Center. Renovation seems completed. They wanted 110 ND pppn but we negotiated 80 ND. Frogs and Ducks weren't to noisy, we slept well. Restaurant was good and had average Wifi.

Report Check-In

Nice campground but with super bright lights on all night and the ducks on the pond squawking all night, we didn't get much sleep. Wi-Fi is weak at the sites.

Report Check-In

Hmmm - well still needs work, idea taking shape though. pitches aren't very private and can be seen from road - they still need work. no wifi available. staff super nice. food good - not super cheap but good value. good for a night stop over.

Nice place, under renovation but the plans look good for what they want to do! Staff are very friendly. Restaurant, toilets, showers and water. Fire stands to cook on. 90N$ per person per night. Near to a shopping centre which is in walking distance. Good for just crossing the border or moving on the the national park.

Report Check-In

Lovely spot being renovated and close to completion. New friendly owners since Jan 2016. Campsite overlooks small dam, and the sight offers a lovely set restaurant with cheap beers at N$15 each. Camping per person is N$90 a night.
