truly charming and atypical place in the middle of a stone fortress reminiscent of castle ruins invaded by quiver trees. The place is quiet, the distant road is not a nuisance. Reasonable price for the place we liked this stay

Perhaps a convenient stopover only for the night. We paid 380 for the night and two people. Price is not negotiable, seems their only selling point are the quiver trees and rock formations to take photographs. Facilities are zero, no electricity, water taps and no shade. Arty things all over like bicycles. Close to the road, found it to be expensive considering the above.

Basic place to sleep, with some places to camp, tables with wind protection, creative ablutions. My shower was cold, but I don’t know if it’s necessary to ask the owner for hot/warm water. He has 2 happy dogs. The place has a lot of beautiful trees, and a beautiful sunset. As the camp is closer the B1 road, it’s noisy because of the trucks, but at night the noise stops. It’s 180 NAD pp.

Charming, basic place with a lot of art... We love it. Price is 180NAD pppn.

We love this place. Good stop 1 km beside the road 20 out of Keethmanshoop. Very quiet and funny place, not expensive. A lot of space, many camp sites with Kokerbooms, very friendly, bit shy local camp manager, with 2 funny dogs. His mother, a Herero woman, own the campsite. We always like to support local people.

The nature in this place is beautiful, the sculptures ugly and the sanitary facilities sub standard for Namibia.

we did not stay, 350 for 2 and a baby, no wifi/ no electricity/ no water at site. cash only, ....not worth to visit

Rate is now 160 N$ p.P. Everything else already said.

First impression was not good. Looked run down & care taker couldn't be bothered to give us a smile. The surroundings are beautiful with the boulders and 'golden' quiver trees, and the sunset is amazing!
150 is overpriced, considering no electricity, no water at sites etc.

Price now 150 for adults, 75 for kids. still good value we think

Nice setting, pretty clean. No shade but for us ideal for overnight stay. Two cats and dogs. We liked it. You can hear the street a bit, but not much traffic.

Ok for an overnight stop very exposed to the wind. Otherwise all facilities are fine. 140pppn

Don't camp here unless you want to be woken up by a bus load of picture-taking, tourists at 6 in the morning, yelling at each other outside your tent.

We talked to the tour operator and he said he had permission from the campground owners and that the tours come here all the time, so this wasn't a one-off.

Also no hot water for your showers. Avoid this place.

140 ND per person now, otherwise as described below.
Electricity near the showers/toilets for fridges and lights only not for kettles or other appliances .

It is a very nice camp site, very simply, but affectionately furnished!! And one needs for the inspection of the quiver trees and the playground of the giants who are around this camp site, nothing pay. One can save 170 edges for two people who are required in the Quiver Tree Forest camp for it.

all as below. note that they only accept cash. N$130pppn. only downside is that you can hear the nearby B1 at night. stargazing is out of this world
