Beautiful scenery and right on the beach like many other places along this fantastic stretch of the Ghanaian coastline.
Fisherman village overlooked by an old fort on the right hand side and pristine long bended sandy beach on the left.
The place is well maintained, ablutions perfect and staff very professional.
We stayed 2 adults and 3 kids with the car for 50 Cedis a day.
Took 40 min for the tar road to get there through the bumpy and sandy path.
On the other hand, mosquitos and loads of unpleasant bugs (soldier antst, flies) at dusk especially and through the night (most probably due to the river mouth coming into the sea few meters away right before the fisherman village, beautiful drone shots btw).

Lovely chalets in a green paradise right at the beach. (10x better and calmer than busua) Paid 200 cedi per night. Simple room with Fan and small but clean bathroom. Transport from agona is 40cedi, from busua 100cedi (there were no collective taxis available). The taxi will drop you on the other side of the Lagune. There is a wonky bridge to walk over, you'll see the orange chalets after 3minute walk along the beach. It seems possible to drive here (there were some non-4x4s parked) but my driver told me it would take 1,5 h from busua. But maybe he just exeggerated, because he didn't want to go the long way round. Great affordable food too. (breakfast 25cedi / main meals 40-60cedi)

Nice place. 20cdis pp to camp. Good restaurant for fish.
We went walking from Butre to Busua. Takes 2,30h go and come back. Track is in maps.me. It worth, is a small path through the jungle and beach.
Another nice walking from Hideout is to reach Asemko following the beach.

A small rustic lodge in the beach, full of charm and the staff are wonderful. I was able to park in their adjacent parking area with access directly onto the beach. It was wonderful. There is plenty of beach to walk along and the local village has some basics, I was able to get bread, eggs and phone credit. The village bridge, fort and river canoe are essential visits. I spent a week and could have stayed longer. The restaurant serves affordable and good meals. I paid 20cedi to park and use if their shower and toilet.
