Beautiful site all for free! Ankole cattle herders passing but no interference.
Report Check-InAbsolutely perfect wild camp spot. Quiet and out the way and no one bothered us. However after 18 hours of rain the day before, it was very very boggy and the entrance was actually a pond! We still easily made it through though and didn't struggle at all or get stuck, just be prepared to get wet feet. I think it was just an unlucky time of rain though!
Report Check-InNice place, quiet. Nobody can see you if you park your car on the Rock to the left. Take the right track from the main road, and left on the Rock. It's better during the raining saison, to not be stuck in the mud.
Report Check-InGreat place and easy access. The road currently has terrible washboard ...
In the afternoon too many flies but harmless. Late afernoon some oeople passed with their cattle.
Entrance is on this waypoint. We drove roughly 100 meters into this area, pretty parallel to the road. Noone can see you, noone around, just you and the bush sounds. It was our very first African wildcamp, but highly recommend this one!
Report Check-InDue to grading of the road its not that accessible anymore but this area has many spots to wildcamp, I went across the road 100m into the forest on compact sand, very nice area to camp!
Report Check-Instill a very perfect place without any disturbance or visibility
no flies when we were around
one other overlander truck there, place is huge so you still have your privacy
strongly recommend!
Really nice and quiet there! We had to cut a big treebranch to get to the back of the place.
First people with the bikes passed about 10am, very friendly and nice.
Very nice place. Not so hard to find. Lots of space. No shadow. Yes annoying flies but not biting species.
Report Check-InPretty sweet place, just the flys are pretty annoying (they looked like mopane flys).
Report Check-InFirst " hidden" place in East Africa, where nobody visited us :-)
