Free place near the NP. This bush camp between fences and railway is perfect and very quiet. We spent 3 nights here. We saw nobody and the train passed through one time early evening.
Hlane NP worst a visit if you are interested to see Rhinos.

Many thorn trees hanging into the track, so reconsider if you're worried about your paintwork. Also the grass was almost 1m high when we visited, so we cut it only to realize that there were heaps of ticks around. At least 3 crawling up our legs every time we got out of the car. So we spent the rest of the day inside. Driving out, we passed a NP ranger patrolling the fence. All in all, it's an ok option if you're desperate to save some bucks. Otherwise, staying in Hlane and watching the rhinos at dusk is a worthwhile option at R130pp.
Report Check-InGood place under a tree. Coming from Mbabane, turn right 300m after the railway bridge (just before some guard shacks). Then follow the grassy track for about 2km or so. Flat spot next to railway, quiet en nobody around. Be self sufficient. 2WD no problem but very high grass.
