Latest Check-Ins

Nice camping area on a hot July weekend. Swimming in the lake is very refreshing. Not crowded and people are very friendly. Campfires are not allowed now. Clean and the only noise is from kids playing in the water. T-Mobile is working with 1 bar.

Report Check-In

This place isn't closed for camping. The people here are really sketchy, so we moved on after 3 hours. Witnessed drug use and we bounced. Not top much shade. All the trees are on the opposite side of the spots allowed for camping. The road up with a loaded 30 ft trailer was steep but not too bad. Going downhill with the loaded trailer was brake smelling bad (with engine braking). Very steep, not recommended for smaller powered rigs or weak brakes.

Either the GPS location is wrong or Google map screwed up which “they have never screwed up before” but I was taken to a private road/property. Be sure you see a lake on the map before heading there.

Report Check-In

Camp was closed off for extreme fire risk.

Report Check-In

Don’t know what happened. Just spent 20 mins checking in and it disappeared. Maybe some glitch in the app? As described. 1.8 mile loop around the lake. Sadly trash, cigarette butts, and food have been left around some camps even with numerous trash cans around. Please don’t be one of those.

Nice serene small lake. Beautiful sites as described. 1.6 mile loop trail around the lake. Sadly many people have left trash, food, cigarette butts in and around sites even though there are numerous trash cans around. Road in as described, steep with washboard in spots on gravel road. The lake road into the sites is potholed so slow but 2WD friendly. Sites big enough for smaller RVs and trailers but not big rigs

Arrived at10:10pm. Gate was closed. Fortunately there are a few pullouts within a half mile from the lake. Stayed one night in one of them. Beautiful location. Road was smooth.

Report Check-In

Nice dry camping on the west side of a small lake. There are about 12 camp sites, each with a picnic table and fire ring. Most sites have some shade trees. In the spring there are lots of bunches of yellow wildflowers. Some people come to the lake for a few hours to fish or paddle around in kayaks or on SUPs. I think in the summer on weekends it could be loud with party groups and music. We stayed on a Monday night.

17% grade, hard packed road with loose gravel. Made it but it is steep!! 12 sites, currently site 11 is flooded out. Beautiful peaceful small lake surrounded by tiny wild flowers. Great find for a free site. Pit toilets near site 5

Report Check-In

The road is not maintained in the winter but the snow was cleared near the roadway so one night was still possible but not pretty.

Report Check-In

12 sites available for a maximum of 3 nights. You have to register at the office (just few informations), but is totally free. No fire allowed when we were here.

Super quiet ! Most of people are here for fishing.

The campground is opened until October.

What about the road to came at Morgan Lake ? Steep and narrow ! (It’s worth it)

Report Check-In

The hill to get here is steep and full of gravel. I would not like to drive up it in the winter.

No frills but nice campsites along lake. There is a trail that wraps around lake.

Host told me the gate is new as of 2018 and is locked and closed to traffic between 10pm - 6 am to keep local riff raff at bay.
