They are starting to enforce a no-overnight rule at the parking lots around the park. Just got a warning from the police. So sad.

Report Check-In

Cops came by and as of April 11th, 2023 they will no longer allow people to live / overnight in the park. They temporarily allowed it during covid, but no more.

Report Check-In

Seems open again. Technically you are not allowed to stay here and they may speak to you. But they will let you stay for a night if you do not make a mess.
The GPS coordinates drop you at the first parking lot in front of the park. But if you drive around there are several bigger parking lots near the lake. Some have big RV friendly spots. Quite a pretty park with toilets. I spend a few nights here and wasn’t bothered. Gets buuuusy on weekends and Friday evening.
One of the better places near the east Bay. Did not see other RVs overnighting here, but saw some cars overnight.

Report Check-In

In my experience you're fine as long as you behave yourself and don't take up needed space on busy weekend afternoons. I've been here for a few days and Fremont officials are ignoring me. There are, however, some semipermanent residents.

They just towed 2 RV yesterday during the day because people were not leaving while they were hording and dumping trash. There is 1 camper left that the health dept cited and will be towed this weekend if not moved
it's been here for months. this used to be the most beautiful park and safe place to overnight until to crackheads and tweakers messed it up for everyone . The RV that's left has been dumping sewage in the parking lot for months, and piling used empty cat food cans under their RV All while being parked 10 feet from a dumpster. These people are maggots that mess it up for the rest of us. Come enjoy the park from 6 am to 11 pm daily.

Report Check-In

Closed to overnight parking. Thanks to a few people who cannot clean up after themselves.

Report Check-In

Park is CLOSED to overnight parking.

A few people have messed it up for everyone else. Expired tags, drug use, scrap metal collection taking up 3 parking spaces. residents who live here in Fremont have got fed up with the people living at the park who cannot pick up their trash and walk 5 feet to a trash can.

Very nice park, had a peaceful quiet night there even on a Friday night. Were not disturbed. A few other vans and a big RV slept there too. We parked in the first parking lot on Sailway Dr northwest of this gps marker. Would sleep here again.

This is a big and beautiful park but there are now signs that say “no camping”

Report Check-In

We arrived in the evening time and stayed here for a night and was totally fine. There were also other campers in the lot as well when we arrived. Lots of people started coming to the park early in the morning, but we didn't have any issues. Would 100% recommend.

Report Check-In

Stayed here for one night during the Covid lockdown with no issue. Typical city park noise at night, cars and people talking. Felt safe for being so close to the city. I’d stay again

Beautiful place and very quite at night. Mornings a tai chi group wake me up. My RV fits with it’s 28 feed.

Very beautiful and quiet place in a park. Toilets, water, tap water, huges playgrounds for kids. Safe. DO NOT GO to the parking in front of the Aquapark and beach volley because there was a urban rodeo driving just in front of us around 9pm. Much safer to go to the other parkings into the parks.
