Well maintained. A bit irritating is a camera in the scullery area, which follows your moves. Felt very eerie. Short washing cycles available at 25 zar. Camp Site Was empty. Paid 150 pppn, Kids below 5 pay 50pppn

Verbe caravan park kamieskroon Kitchen is available for preparing a limited menu. chicken or fish are the proteins.
vegetarian dish could be supplied. Fries are optional. pre orders are gladly accepted for the times when the day and the sights are so many and arriving late is the time constraint to prepare a delicious meal.

Simple camping with all you need. Stayed 1 night, 150pppn. We were alone so no privacy issue! Permanent campers are on the premises and they can make a meal for you if you forgot to buy food for supper. Campsites are close to each other but there is warm water, clean toilets and showers and a place to do wash dishes. Decoration in the bathroom is a bit strange...but maybe it is just me!

mechanical problem with vehicle or caravan...? philip Treeby wiil assist with repairs and maintenance. if parts are required he will source and get a qoute. this the owner in need pays directly to supplier together with the courier cost. philip installs and charges only for his labour at an hourly rate.
the caravan park in karavaan northern cape is therefore also a safe haven .

1. about the sizes of the stands.... many many large motorhomes and even overland trucks are accommodated.
2. PRIVACY really is a personal space issue addressed by camper. really good service on the part of management.
3 The relatively warm shower is a fallacy .near boiling point water at all times.

I have stayed here since July 2022 and am a permanent resident camper.

When we stayed a night here it was the only place in the town that had water. As mentioned earlier some of the sites are not level and there is little shade. However the ablutions were good and well maintained, and the owners and their long term campers who keep an eye on the place whilst the owners are not around were very friendly and helpful. Verbe is probably the best of the camping places to stay in this quiet and "time passed it by" village. R175 pppn.

Great place to stay. Owners are wonderful. I was on a bicycle. They allowed me to put up my tent in an empty rondaval because of the weather. Ablutions are very clean. Lots of hot water. Washing up area well equipped to do dishes and laundry. Definitely a great place to stay.

Campground in the outskirts of Kamieskroon with very small not leveled sites and absolutely no privacy. Electricity at the site, relatively warm water for showers, restrooms clean and ok. No potable water, 4G MTN Signal. 90 % Occupancy. Our worst campsite in Africa so far. We would not camp here again. 125 ZAR pp.

Camp site has new owners Loraine and Phillip. All as above. There is a washing machine R25 per wash. Very happy with our stay it was very busy as height of flower season. Stayed 2 nights. R250 per night for 2 people.
