Fantastic place! Basil the owner is quite a character and a biker himself. We loved the old school bar with his personal collection of old beer bottles and the L shaped pool table. Super cheap drinks :) The pool is big and clean! We found shade under a low hanging tree for our small ground tent. Price is now N$200 pppn. Reccomended (especially for bikers)

came for one night and stayed for 3. there are a few camping spots with shade (4ish) and the rest don't have much shade. bathrooms clean, electricity at sites, wifi works great at restaurant. food at restaurant is okay. just across the road from supermarket and bottle shop. 150pppn

This is a real gem. 'Twin Peaks'-esque campsite at an old hotel. The bar is peppered with beer mats and stickers from around the world. There is an L-shaped pool table and a jukebox. The food and drinks are inexpensive although the chips weren't great. The pool is large and warm in the late afternoon. Friendly owner who will chat with you. The campsite ablutions are mostly upgraded now and a good standard. The campsite itself is basic but some trees for shade and hanging laundry. Electricity appears to be available but we didn't use it. A bargain at 150 NAD ppn. Much more genuine and fun than the pristine White Lady Lodge further north.

Somewhat different to typical campsites, but very likable & very relaxed atmosphere, especially in the restaurant/bar
Pool is very nice and gives added value.
Clean shower/toilet in very good working order.
And all this at still N$ 150 pp/n

Second time staying here. Still almost no shade but the ablutions are fantastic, each site has power, dustbin and a light. The pool is still green lol. Wifi is OK in the bar area but doesn't extend to the campsite. Water is not potable. Price still a reasonable N$150 pp pn. Still a nice campsite with a very talkative and friendly cat.

Stayed here for two nights, decent WiFi, very neat and tidy camping area with power outlets and braai facilities. The pool is enormous, but water is green and looks overdue on maintenance. Did swim and enjoy our time.

Decent restaurant prices as well.

Very windy and sandy. Ablutions clean with hot showers. The water in the pool was green, we didn't swim. Wifi was good in the morning but not in the evennig. We paid 100pppn and left at 3 pm.

Really big campsite, price 100 dollar pp pn. Hot showers available. Wifi works extremely slow.

Very nice campsite. Huge area but hardly anyone​ here. we paid 150/person. Toilets and showers clean and hot water. Pool was yucky, wouldn't swim in it. We cooked our own food (supermarket across the road) but there is a bar and restaurant. Electricity and lights but South Africa plug.

Great campsite. Everything as stated below. Reasonably priced menu although I think they were updating the prices when we stayed. Huge unusable swimming pool which is desperate need of repair. Good WiFi

Love this place great chilled atmosphere - stayed in a room one night and had best night sleep in a while! camped second night on nice sandy site with braai.
we will be back - thx for taking such good care of us Basil!

Campsites with shade trees, electricity. Very nice, clean ablutions. Good restaurant & bar, nice pool. Lots of shady places to sit. I paid N$100 for one person. Also has rooms to rent, but I didn't check them out.

Very relaxing and welcoming place! Hot water (shower & dishes), braai, electricity at some of the sites, shadow from trees, free wifi... We paid N$100 pp - honest price.

Power, free wifi, water, braai, a place to do dishes, swimming pool, nice toilet and shower facilities. They do also have a restaurant. Nice and relaxing place.
