Camp at the Kunene River in the Marienfluss valley. Nice location at the river. Fire place, nice and basic toilet and shower block. 4 campsites at the edge of the Kunene river, each with an individual fireplace. Hot showers and flushing toilets are also available. The camp also provides firewood at 50 nam dollar per bundle. Camping 150 pppn . Cabin 200 pppn.

As per commentary, so a good place to stop off. Also offer a laundry service which was great. Anna ( the owner/ manager) very helpful. Spent 4 lovely days there in the shade of some large trees. A couple of friendly dogs wander into the camp.
Report Check-InLovely privat owned campsite next to the Kunene river. Still 150 NAD pp. The campsite is rather small so it can feel crowded if there are 4 cars around. Ablutions are good. All the water comes from the river. Nice shade from the trees. Plenty of birdlife.
Report Check-InBeautiful and quite place.
Hanna, the property is very kindle and efficiently.
The camp is cleaned and I n the face of the Cunene river where you can see the crocodiles swimming.
An oasis in the desert, on the banks of the Kunene river. Good ablutions, and lovely places to hike in the mountains just above. All the campsites were busy when we were there so it did feel quite crowded, but other than that a magical place to stay, with incredible birdwatching
Report Check-InWe had a pleasant 1 night stay at this nice campsite without any other campers. It was great to have abundance of water for shower, dishwashing and cooking after so many nights wild camping in the desert. We would have stayed 2 nights if the days weren't so hot. Around 42°C in the shade. Possibility to give laundry to Ana for washing (5 to 10 NAD per piece). Stunning view from top of the hill right behind the campsite. No MTC signal in the whole Marienfluss region. There's 4 campsites very close to each other with great river view and a 5th one closer to the cottage.
Report Check-Inbeautiful view on the bank of river and very safe. anna the owner bake a bread $20 nam dollar but it's is awesome. showers and toilet. no power. we relaxed for 2 days it is awesome. $150 per person
Report Check-InTo mark this beautiful camp as „Big rigs will not fit in this place“ is not correct - it is easy and straight forward to drive in, to park and to drive out again even with a big rig – so enjoy!😉
Report Check-Invery fine, beautiful view, but when we arrived, it was full or quasi. so we were obliged to go to thé community camp, quasi empty (only a car), which is not very pleasant ...
Report Check-InThe price is always 150 ND pppn. There is no wifi.
Report Check-InNice located campsite, with very good shower's! The days we spent here, we couldn't sit outside for breakfast until lunchtime because of heavy wind with loads of sand in the air, during the afternoon the wind calmed down.
Report Check-InAfter a couple of years travelling around in Africa today we drove one of the most amazing tracks in southern Africa. The Marienfluss area with beautiful landscape and sandy tracks ( we even managed in 2 wheel mode - it's possible!) brings you to Camp Syncro!
A gem located directly at the Kunene river.
Anna, the Manager, ist taking care of all the facilities. Good showers and a sink at every place makes it very comfortable to stay and relax for a couple of days viewing the river and crocs!
150 N$ pP
We stayed for two nights, 150 N$ ppn (no extra charge for the car). Nicely equipped spots next to each other, all with view of the river, with shade and your own dish washing basin. Showers and toilets in good shape (recently rebuilt?) and hot water. No wifi or bar or food available, but you can walk over to the Marienfluss bar, where they have all of this. Nice place to meet other people and connect; it was quite busy when we were there. We also made a small hike to the next upstream meander of the Kunene just climbing over some of the rocks and exploring (start in the back of the campsite where a sign says "sunset hill").
Report Check-Insame price as community camp (150 nam dollar pppn ). One nice shady spot . Hot showers . Very nice cabins at 200 pppn but bring your own mattresses. Now being run by Anna the chef from Epupa lodge . Lovely views .
Report Check-InNice campsite on the river with nice ablutions. Originally when we got there we were told it was N$250 a person + N$150 per car, which seemed crazy to us for what it was. Before leaving we started to negotiate the price and got it down to N$150 +N$50 a car, and as we had been wild camping for a new nights we decided to stay as their abolutions were nice and clean with good water preasure.
One thing we didn't like too much was that in the morning while making breakfast a group of local himba came and basically set up their shop for us infront of our cars, but after politely looking at their items they did leave.
We do recommend staying here if you need a little freshen up after wild camping for a few days, as it is a beautiful location but there are so many amazing places to wild camp, if you don't want to spend the money.
Also note there is no pool, bar or wifi.
Report Check-InThe camp is quite nice, straight at the cunene river. You can observe the crocodile from the camp spot.
In our opinion is there not enough privacy as the spots are all right next to each other. We also think 150N$ pp/night + 50N$ per car is a bit steep for what it is.
Camp Syncro campsite contains 4 campsites at the edge of the Kunene river, each with an individual fireplace. Warm showers and flushing toilets are also available. The camp also provides ice cold beverages, bags of ice, firewood and Wifi.
Report Check-InCamp at the Kunene River in the Marienfluss valley. Nice location at the river. Fire place, nice and basic toilet and shower block.
