We crossed at the Dobe border crossing from Namibia to Botswana and from the border we headed south and found the Aha place. No facilities, but a nice clearing in the forest. We went looking for the sinkholes, but did not find them. We only found remains of some San huts. free

Easy to find but narrow way, so we scratched the car :-(
Very quiet, nobody, no cars. Shade thanks to the trees. We found the sinkhole going up the hill. We liked it for 1 night on the way to the caves.
Nice shady clearing under big trees. We also had some bees in the morning. Not very many but they are nosy and crawl into everything so we decided to have breakfast elsewhere. We found one of the sinkholes about a 3min walk straight up the hill. Climbed in and descended about 10m
Report Check-InIt seem to be a nice place. We set everything up. But then we where attacked by hundrets of bees. So we couldn't stay here.
Check first, if there are any...
Really nice spot! Stayed there for 3 nights. We didn't find the sinkhole either but took a long walk direction Namibian border - beautiful hike.
Report Check-InBeautiful wild place. We didn't find sinkholes or ruins, but the full moon through the marula trees, the fire and the silence make it well worth a visit.
Report Check-InWe went there with our truck, 2.4m wide and 3.5m heigh. it's fine but a lot of trees to push a bit.
Report Check-InHaven't slept here but did visit the place to look for these settlement remains. Unfortunately I didn't find them, nor any sinkholes. But it does look like a nice campspot. Clearly it is actively used as such, judging by the smouldering ashes and abundance of tyre tracks.
