There was not any places to get off the road so we bush camped in an area where the road was a bit wider. Four cars passed us right after sunset and then there was no more traffic on the road that nigh. We had a really good and quiet night sleep. free
We don't have any photos of this place yet.

stayed 500m further south of this point. basically just take any opportunity to drive into the bush, there are no tracks (or at least we didn't see any) that go inside the bush but as said before we found a grassy place hidden behind trees. just make sure you're not visible from the main road and you should be fine. had a very quiet night.
Report Check-InWe were headed here but got stuck inside Chobe and missed the nearby gate closing time (Ghoha gate). Driving after dark we came across the military others mentioned, they do a nightly drive through towards Savuti to check the road and would have helped recover us if we hadn't dug ourselves out.
There were about 12 guys in a 6x4 truck, they look a bit scary but were friendly and understanding. They let us camp at Ghoha gate with no issue. Gate staff were fine with it too.
Report Check-InThis location is right on the side of the main sand road and not hidden at all. Given recent comments about the military, we thought it be best to be hidden from the main road. So we drove about 100m further on from this spot (direction north) and found a small opening on our left. Grassy and a few small bushes around but at least it gives some coverage. Some areas have been flattened by the elephants. We tried to not park in their tracks, but none came past. One car passed us around 8.30pm but didn’t see us. No issues. No people. Roaring lions. Great stop over between the different parks.
Report Check-InWe also camped around this point, maybe closer to the gate. Nobody came during the night, just the roaring of many lions.
In the morning hundreds of elephants (big herds) were around us in their way to the waterholes. Very wild place.
We stayed around here, next to the road. At 01:00 some soldiers of military sent us away. It scared the hell out of us, because at first we didn’t no it was the military.
They explained that they wanted to prevent that something would happen to us, because of wild animals.
We then moved outside the gate of Savuti.
