Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
A ruin at the river. The Chundu campsite is much better situated in our opinion. When entering camping, you have to book their public campsite anyway, which would have been 100.- per site per night.
Report Check-InBe very discreet when camping here…. Arrive for sundowners but leave before the game viewing vehicles with guests arrive in the morning.
WILD CAMPING ETIQUETTE
1. GOING TO THE TOILET - Find a place where people are unlikely to walk. Dig a hole, do your business, burn the toilet paper (without causing a fire), cover the hole again.
2. FIRES / BRAAI’s - If you have to make your fire on the ground: Dispose of the ash (without causing a fire) & cover with sand. Leave it looking as natural as you found it.
3. Do not leave any rubbish behind.
Wild camping should not disturb the environment, animals or the people that live nearby.
Report Check-InThe same as was described before still a lovely site to camp, animals come to drink. Econet signal
Report Check-InLovely campsite by the Zambezi in the National Park. No facilities other than a brai stand. We were only just allowed in after a nice chat with the officials who thought we were too big (10,000kg). In the end they let us drive this far in the park but no further. $25 per adult for entrance and camping per day. Plus one time $10 entry for the vehicle.
