Zimbabwe
Nice camping grounds, Zebra grazing around the camp.

Great stopover outside Gweru. It’s in a private game park although lions in a pen is not my thing. There’s electricity, WiFi, grass and a pool. It’s very peaceful. Not really a place for more than a night but that’s my view.
Report Check-InThe place is nice in the european/american standard, maybe not in Africa…
It seems like a zoo + an occidental camping.
Much better for us visiting national parks.
With the camping fee you are not going to see animals, you have to pay for the activities and are quite overpriced we think.
Report Check-InBest of the best... Be sure that one day is definitely not enough. Could hear the lions roar the whole night and the frogs in the river next to the campsite is like music to the ears. Had the best toasted sandwiches and burgers in the coffee shop. Will be back soon. This is a hidden gem and jewel in Zimbabwe.
Report Check-InWow, what a great campsite and place. We planned to stay just for one night but the moment we saw the site we decided to stay longer. We ended up staying 3 nights and had such a great time.
Electricity on sites, WiFi fast and available pretty much anywhere, also at the campsite.
Clean and spacious ablution block, water wasn't getting hot at night though. Rather shower in the afternoon if you want hot water.
Shade and drinking water access available.
Pool right next to the campsite.
And all of that for only 10 US$ pppn.
We didn't eat or drink at the bar/restaurant, so I can't say anything about that.
Report Check-InReally nice place to stay for a stopover but avoid the buffet st the restaurant. We had Spaghetti Bolognese or rice Bolognese with coleslaw and/or green salad for 20 USD pp. Totally overpriced!
No variants at all.
Really friendly. $115 a night for river lodge - a chalet. Buffet restaurant supper
and breakfast included in the price.
what a beautyfull place! campground with power, hot showers, shelter and own braai stand! very relaxing! did the lionwalk witch was amazing and just relaxed at the pool! very friendly people. caming 10 us pp
Report Check-InNice campspots, clean ablutions and nice restaurant (didn’t eat), and big clean pool, where there at christmasday so very crowdy but quite at night.
We had a wanderful walk with three lions for up one and a half our! 85$ pp but well worth the money! The tried to charge us 20$ ppn but we stayed food that we only wanted to pay 10$ ppn and so they accepted!🤔. Good place for two nights max!
3 camp spots (sable, kudu, impala) with each own lapa, electricity braai pit. 2 ablution blocks to share with private rooms dotted on the grassy camp ground. Nice pool. When we were there, couple of Zimbabwean families visited the parc as Sunday outing.
Report Check-Inthis is a nice place, but Not more. walking around is running the gauntlet with waterspout. ablution is shabby. the Doors of the shower are broken. the water is nearly cold, and the sinks are full of rubbish and scraps. 10$ is to much, and Wifi is only available at the Reception and costs 3$ for 15gb.... all Show and no substance
Report Check-InNice site like description. But take care not to stay to close to the bar. We were here on a saturday and it was disco half the night. A dog attacked in the night after leaving the car but run away after shouting. The shop is beautiful and the staff very friendly.
Report Check-InNice grassy campground with trees close to a lake. Looks a bit cheesy and had better times. Ablutions were ok and clean. Food at the restaurant was good.
Report Check-InPrivate game park/resort. Exceptional value for money. $10 pppn camping on grass next to lake, pool, ablutions and cafe/bar. Mules grazing alongside. Good clean ablution block with piping hot showers. Chalets/rooms also available. Lots of activities and spa available (at a price).
Report Check-InGood reasonably priced campsite with a nice views and the sound roaring lions during the night. In the afternoon sometimes the staff bring out the elephants for a swim. Wi-Fi in the bar nearby (not for free). Good ablution, laundry service and lots of (expensive) activities. You can walk with lions here. Price for camping is 10 USD per person per night
