beautiful campsite with green grass.. friendly staff.. quiet place on the boteti river..

Report Check-In

Nice campsite with grass and lovely sight on the river and swimming pool. There was a group but it was still very calm. The camping area is behind the "luxury tents" so you can't see the river from your tent. We came with bicycles and had to push all the way long from the main road (about 1km), but the day after the owner gave us a lift to come back. As we are cyclists we had a small discount (135 pp). The wifi is fast. There was a group but it was still very calm.

Is a very nice campsite and we are her 3 days . Pool ❤️Wifi an the bar . Very friendly Owner. I cam back 😍😍

Report Check-In

We were the only campers here so it was really quiet and peaceful when we were here! can imagine it'd be noisy and busy with big overland groups though. Lovely views of the river and sunset. Bar with free decent wifi and restaurant is open too but might need to order a little in advance or wait a while. Ablutions are pretty run down and not the best but shower had good hot water and the loos were fine. Super friendly managers (new since 9 months ago) very welcoming. Lovely pool, fire pits and water taps around plus sink with hot water for dishes.
150pppn, cash only

Report Check-In

Very nice site next to the river. Shady pitches on sand next to grass. The camp was fully booked when we arrived but the manager found us a place to park our car with our roof top tent (thank you!). Great Wi-Fi in the bar area. Good abolitions. Take your own bringing water. Cash only; ideally Pula but can use Rand + fee. BWP 150 pppn.

Report Check-In

Very small campsite and all the sites are quite cramped together behind the tents. Still some nice river views, though. You can hear the hippos grunting late evening/early morning. We had only one other car there besides us and it was nice and quiet, but when there’s an Overland truck and many more cars, it’ll be quite horrible and noisy. Ablutions small, old and not very clean, either. Good pressured hot shower, though. 150 Pula/pppn. Friendly staff. Small pool, but clean beside the river. Restaurant didn’t have anything much to offer for food, so we cooked ourselves.

Nice and peaceful with Riverview, still 150 pppn

Report Check-In

Great place..we were on own here got a spot with view of river. well priced at 150 pp pn with a camper. Can hear hippos right next to us but fence is there so all good

Report Check-In

Love this spot!. Unless a bunch of overland truck clients are here (Drifters are an Overland Truck operator) this attractive site next to the Boteti river is peaceful and excellent value compared to those in nearby Maun. The wash up facilities are a bit scruffy and the drainage seems to block up easily. But the pool, bar and booze cruiser boat are big drawcards and the sites shaded and wired for electricity. There are safari tents available too. best to book ahead. Pula 300 pppn camping.

Fantastic camp site. Lovely ablutions with hot water and friendly staff

Report Check-In

We camped for one night, level camping sites, lots of shade, clean ablutions with hot showers. Friendly staff. As mentioned by others the manager Cronje, is so helpful with some good advice with the rest of our trip. The sunset and sunrise over the river are simply breathtaking. We paid 150 pula per person.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Report Check-In

Very knowledgeable and friendly manager, Cronje. Rates are as stated. Good bar and restaurant serves basic food, but well prepared and tasty. Fast wifi. Pool available. Sites have electricity/ lights/ taps. Good ablutions.

Report Check-In

Very welcoming and friendly host Cronje. Bar, food (need to pre-order a couple of hours before), decent ablutions with hot electric geyser. Camping P300 pppn. Relaxing Boat ride available for P100 pp on Boteti River by Cronje. Can bring own drinks or snacks on boat or buy drinks from bar to take. There are also permanent tents but we camped. Good wifi in bar area too free for paying guests.

Report Check-In

Super nice campsite. Clean and spacious Ablution. Beautiful sunsets as the camp is situated right next to the river. wifi at the bar. camp owner was very helpful and had lots of tips for our journey through chobe. he also helped as filling up our water tank.

Report Check-In

Amazing! Super kind, relaxed owner, beautiful lagoon-like spot on the Boteti riverside (an actual clean part of the river as opposed to the camps on iOverlander listed in Nata). Awesome deck to do birding. Allowed to drink your own drinks around the bar area/near the water deck as overnighters. Sometimes a little noisy during weekend-days due to day visitors at the bar area (Drifter's offers boat trips), but very quiet during the week & at night. Many Wahlbergs fruit-eating bats at night, awesome to hear.

Old but super clean ablutions, warm showers with nice pressure. About 10 luxury tents with their own bathrooms & water view (around 900 pula per night I believe) and same amount of camp spots. Camp sites are situated behind the tents, so less water view. When we were there the, there were only 2 tents filled the first night. The other 2 nights there were only 1 or 2 other overland vehicles.

Electricity at pretty much all spots now. Several braai pits. 150 pula pp in April 2022 for camping. Plenty of shade.

What a perfect hide away.
Right on the banks of the Boteti river with great wifi and a very friendly and helpful camp manager Cronje.
Camping P150/person

Report Check-In

Very nice campsite, grassy, shady, clean and peaceful. On Saturday, some local families with children and a few party boats passing on the river, but still very peaceful and friendly atmosphere.

Report Check-In

Nice place. Warm welcome. When we arrived there where many kids playing in the pool. So good for us with our 10month baby. Most are weekend visitors. Power at the campsite. Fireplace and very nice spot next to the river.

Report Check-In

Shady spots on the grass, water outlet at least at one of the spots, did not check the rest. Showers okay. On the campsite itself no loud music is allowed, but the boat cruises on the Boteti lagoon provide that from time to time in the afternoon. We weren't troubled by that, though.
The borehole water is safe for human consumption according to the owner (and our experience) but tastes of iron and minerals. It's fine for a night but probably not for filling up your tanks before going to the national parks.
The owner is very welcoming and helpful with advice on the quality of the routes in the national parks.
120 pppn.

Report Check-In

Relaxed atmosphere, nice location out of town and right on the waters edge BUT campsites set behind tented chalets, also no bbq, water point or electric outlets at spots, showers could also do with a good scrubbing, overall overpriced and rate it 3/10 been to liads better for less, stayed one night

Report Check-In

As described, still 120 pula pppn. Beautiful spot on river, we were lucky to be the only ones there. Electricity available at one central spot for any camper with a long enough line. Wifi free but not working when we were there (our curse), firewood extra.

Report Check-In

Nice shady spots most on grass, some on sand. Also Some fixed tents that can be rented at the bank of the river. WiFi at bar and pool area. Very friendly welcomed! Price is P120pppn

Report Check-In

We were lucky to have this lovely spot to ourselves, despite it being a S.A. Holiday week. The new managers are very friendly and willing to help and made us feel very welcome. Plenty of shady spots, overlooking the wide river. Good ablutions and plenty of hot water available. 120 pula p.p.n.
Be aware that the camp is owned by the Overland company of the same name and could be quite busy at times.

Report Check-In

Nice camping spots on grass, beautiful view on the river. We saw flocks of thousands of birds feeding at dusk. Heard hypos at night.
Managers are nice, the woman at the reception was very unwelcoming, lazy and undriendly though. Ablution bloc is a bit old, but worked fine.

Report Check-In
