What a fabulous campsite right next to Okawango river.
At P300pppn it's not the cheapest but worth every penny of it. Can highly recommend.

We opted for the lodge due to the heat wave. Loved the rooms and the air con. Beautiful green grounds all well kept. Cooling and clean pool. River front and we enjoyed a couple of boat trips out. Great food.

This is an absolute gem of a lodge. If you are a birder it is a must! We saw the Pel’s Fishing Owl twice which is a lifer bird. The staff are incredibly friendly and the owners made us feel so welcome. The campsites are quite private with excellent ablutions, very clean and all well maintained. You’re also right on the Okavango river. Each campsite has its own braai area, power point and tap. The main lodge is a very short walk and offers WiFi and a swimming pool which the campers can use. We had dinner at the lodge on our first night and were taken there via boat which was great. Highly recommend this spot, we’ll definitely be back.

Nice and quiet place. Campsites are large and shady, ablutions clean. Nice riverview from the bardeck at the campground, perfect for a sundowner. Pool area is nice and refreshing. In the afternoon a lot of friendly bushbucks on the lawn. We enjoyed our stay.

Fantastic campsite and the pitches are huge, we were on pitch 8, super clean. However access to camping pitches are not big rig friendly. Not easy access and it took a lot of patience to navigate the long narrow track between trees.
Once in it was perfect.

dusty. The property and the bar area are stunning.

Best place we stayed in our 2 week road trip in Botswana. Beautiful lodge with great camping sites at 200 Pula pp. It is beautifully landscaped with amazing bird viewing. It’s clean and quiet with electricity at each site and clean, shared abolition blocks. We spent two nights here because we just needed a night in a real bed and ac...and it was sooo worth it! The pool is very nice too. They also have good free WiFi in the beautifully decorated main lodge reception area with free tea and coffee. The people running Drotskys are so kind and welcoming and no long drive in from the main road. This place is simply great!

The campsites are very dusty, but neat with good amenities. It is clean and neat and well kept. The campsites are not on the main river though, but on a small side stream. At P200 pppn it is fairly expensive. You are however to use the swimming pool and coffee, tea and cookies are free to enjoy at the lodge. The staff are very friendly and the internet is good. Internet is however only available at the lodge. The lodge was about 15 minutes walk from our campsite, but the paths are beautifully kept with lights at night. We heard elephants fairly close by every evening and the deer are walking around. There lots of monkeys around all the time, so you can't leave any food unattended. Beautiful birds around also.

Still a great campground. Price pppn is now P200. Firewood is no longer included but costs just P25 for a large wheelbarrow full. The official website is drotskys.com. You can book by contacting them via the site or email at [email protected]. (The site drotskyscabins.com is a South African travel agency that charges higher rates.) The campground was fully booked (17 sites) when we were here during South African July school holidays.

Nice big campsites in forested area next to the river, looking out over reeds, very spread out and private. Says it can accommodate big vehicles, but you're likely to take some of the forest with you. Simple but nice ablutions. Nice bar area overlooking river. Can rent boats and fishing equipment per hour. Bring mozzie repellent!!! P150 pppn.
