In low season this hostel in opened only if the other Hostel El Diablo Tranquilo by the ocean is fully occupied. At least what happened on Jun 2018.

We didn't stay here, but rented a bike from them to explore Santa Teresa NP. It's 390 UYU for a days bike rental. Looks like a very laid back hostel. They were super helpful giving us all information without even staying there, letting us charge our devices and offering dinner. The management changes yearly they told me, I hope it stays such a wonderful place.

It's open... 12 us for dorm... Two locations..(other in front of the beach) Parking for the bike on site. Quiet street parking for car.

It is closed!!! Tried to go there and they had some official tax authority looking paper on the wall saying that it's closed

We park in front of the hostel and can use wifi, showers etc.
Nice people and 300 Ur$ is a fair price we think.
Nice place. Recommendation.

Closed for offseason .. In fact all of the town was..we parked next to beach and it was perfect... Quiet except for sound of waves

Busy hostel...mostly surfers. Good WiFi and sitting areas. No secure parking. $18 USD per person for a bunk bed.

Parked out front and used facilities. Friendly, lively surf hostel. 20USD per night for 2 people.
