A large camping with lots of campsite, really lots, like 1000. Packed in the season with hostel, supermarket and bars. Empty and quiet in the off season. It's a good and cheap choice for those want to go to La Pedrera. Some of the sections can be noisy, but we found a quiet place to stay. 280 $UYU

Spent a nice quite night here, for us no security issues. Hot water for showers around sunset once they light the fire.
Report Check-InFor those of us lesser mortals with a tent and without a vehicle, this place is absolutely fine. Friendly welcome, hot water, clean ablution block. OK, it’s far from new and may look a bit shabby, but it is what it is. We paid 135 pesos (less than US$4) per person during Easter week. It is a classic Uruguayan campground, popular with families. There are a number of cabañas of varying sizes, and a Hostal, too. Plenty of shade, well drained. A short walk to a beautiful beach. We stayed 3 peaceful nights.
Report Check-InCamping com ótimo atendimento, apesar de ser baixa temporada encontramos banheiros limpos e chuveiro
quente, com água aquecida por caldeira, uma delícia. Só pernoitamos
Agree with all comments re services but is a lovely spot amongst the trees, my motor home is self contained. There is no security at night but camp ground lights operate. Was wary of security during night but had no problems.110 pp and 150 for motorhome.
Report Check-InWARNING! At this campsite we were attacked at 4.30am in the morning! While we were sleeping a big stone flew through the passenger window and the robber could grab a jacket and an old bath towel. We screamed, could prevent worse happen and could force him to escape. The requested police said that this area is by fare not the safest and even in the high season such burglaries and attacks happen. Does not seem to be a peaceful neighborhood...
Report Check-InOk camping. Open in the off season, we paid 300 peso for a camper and a family of four. Bathrooms were clean but old, very hot showers 24h. Some noise from the road.
Report Check-InJust un update, since last year, the bathrooms have been redone and are maintained clean with warm water in the evenings. The water is still dirty, buy we heard it is a general problem in the village.
Had a fantastic stay in march, good weather, almost empty campground.
Nice camp, tables & fire at almost every spot. wifi works at most spots, 10min walk to the beach, supermini sells basics, beer & wood.
Report Check-InSuggest you don't go here. Disgusting ablutions. Plenty of other campsites around to choose from.
Report Check-InCame in at low season. There were around 10 tents but the place is so big it seemed deserted. Payed 305 uyu for two people and a regular car (non camper). Toilettes were reasonably clean but in high season I can imagine it getting really messy. Stayed three nights.
Report Check-InAcross the road from beach and very large camp site ( no size restrictions) are the only two good things about this place.
Wifi is non existent, bathrooms and showers are disgusting ( no idea when they were cleaned last). The water is brown and has small pieces of rock and sand in it ( you don’t even want to wash your hands with it, let alone fill up your camper tank ). We stayed here for a while because our car broke down. I would have rather being on the road side.
Everything is run down here....
grande, acesso a praia. na baixa temporada muito abandonado, sem pias e água não potável. pagamos 122 pesos p/p e mais 122 pelo motorhome.
Report Check-InVery big campground, lots of trees and direct beach access. There are also cabins for rent. 124 uruguayan pesos per person and 240 for the motorhome, in the winter. Bathrooms very shabby and run down, wifi very slow in the motorhome area, better in the tent area. About 20 to 30 min walk into town, just across the street from beach.
Report Check-Incamping with lot of space in a miserable state. just horrible bathroom. they said they are doing it new. wifi just for 15mn/day. 488 pesos for 2pp and motorhome. very expensive for what you get.
Report Check-InNous avons stationné dans ca camping le 20/06/2017. Le camping est agréable si l'on a pas besoin des sanitaires car c'est loin d'etre clean.
Report Check-InDisgusting place. Very dirty and run down. We prefered the parking lot close to the beach. Toilets at the Ancap fuel station, power and internet at the museum. Everything free and way better then the camping.
Report Check-InToo expensive! 244 UYU pp and 488 for 4x4 camper incl. taxes. ....service no! maintenance lagging years behind.
Report Check-Incamping excelente, baños limpios, personal amable, laguar para lavar ropa, asaderos, muy recomendado.EL CAMPING DEl frente horrible
Report Check-InGrand complexe touristique qui manque cruellement d'entretien et un prix assez élevé 200$U par personne et 200$ pour vehicule +88$ de taxes
Report Check-Inrun down place but open. for its state prices too high. 1 night, 2 people, camper van 550p
Report Check-Inthis is a place with many trees. We stayed here only because we needed wifi and it worked o.k.near the office. But everything else was destroyed and dirty. we paid 300 Pes. p/d for two poeple and motorhome.
