I extended my visa here, quite easy and personal is friendly and helpful. I dropped my pasport in the morning with copy of passport, visa, the LOI and a passphoto. They wanted more information, but said I don't have it and I need the extension today since it was the last valid day. They started working on it right away and later I came back to pick it up. First I had to sign some papers and pay 12.000 kwanza. The put the wrong date in the extension, and later corrected it, so make sure you check it. Got it at the same day. Open on monday to friday from 8.15 to 15.00 and on saturday from 8.15 to 14.30.

Come here to prolong your visa. We had to fill out one Portuguese form, hand in 2 passport photos and copies of our current visa and the passport main page. The cost for the extension was the equivalent of 90US$ in kwanza. We were first told that they could only give us another month from the date of issue so if you are only two weeks in you would only gain another two. Surprisingly we ended up with a full month on top anyway. Passport pickup was the day after.
